Lavish Pampering at Posh Nails Perea

Posh Nails has been at the forefront since nail spas and salons started sprouting all over the metro. It has established credibility and consistency across its 30 branches nationwide since it opened up its flagship salon 12 years ago.

One of its newest branches is Posh Nails Perea near Greenbelt 5, owned by Jen Aquino. This location has been home for Jen Aquino, her sisters and their business partners close to a year now. They deem this Perea location as a best choice since Jen and her sisters are residents of condos nearby and people who work within the vicinity match their target market.

They believe in the quality of service that Posh Nails gives its clients, as they have experienced it for themselves. As such, they are confident that Posh Nails can confidently cater to needs of metro women looking for some de-stressing. This branch is perfect for wives, moms and kids while husbands and dads go shopping nearby malls like Greenbelt and Glorietta. Posh Nails Perea is indeed a perfect place for mom-and-daughter bonding moments.

Posh Nails offers a wide range of services other than nail grooming. Posh Nails is a one-stop as its services also include body massages, hair removal via wax, eye lash extensions and themed mani-pedis like the Watermelon mani-pedi, Lemon Twist and Strawberries and Cream.

Don't be misled by the name Posh Nails, this place does much more than that! I tried their Watermelon manicure-pedicure and I'd say that I've never gotten a such better treatment anywhere else. For the first part, I was given a foot soothing soak, foot scrub and massage. Their technicians are pleasant and competent!

This Watermelon-themed treatment started with a foot soak in warm water. The attending staff then gave me a scrub. Next, she rinsed my legs and feet. She then buffed my feet to remove those callouses. Foot reflexology came in shortly. I so love how my technician massaged my feet including my legs as I felt snug in my comfy chair! She did the same pressure point massages to my hands and arms.
Their signature services include the following: Posh Spoiling which combines a mani-pedi with a soothing soak, scrub and massage. Another is the Basic Refresh which has a minty mask combined with a mani-pedi, soak, scrub and massage.

Posh Nails uses Zoya, O.P.I., China Glaze, Essie, Deborah Lippmann, Orly and Cuccio imported nail lacquers .

After the massage, she sealed it with a watermelon-scent spray and applied nail polish.

And because this branch is also located in the heart of Makati's business district, Posh Nails stay open until 10PM to accommodate the needs of working women for pampering.

Schedule your visit today and be pampered like a queen.

All-natural GOUTRITIS provides relief from Gout without the side effects

Gout pain is said to be one of the most severe excruciating experience so intense that it is enough to cause fever, muscle aches, and other flu-like symptoms. A gout attack is characterized by swelling, debilitating pain that emanates from a joint due to the formation of uric acid crystal deposits caused by too much uric acid build-up in the body. The body is so sensitive to touch that even the slight brush of a bed sheet on the inflamed area causes a surging burning pain that can make gout sufferers scream.
GOUTRITIS, an all-natural herbal dietary supplement provides relief from the swelling and pain without the side effects commonly associated with prescription drugs such as drug-induced liver disease. It is available in bottles of 90 capsules (P900) and blister packs of 10 capsules (P100) at Mercury Drug stores nationwide.

GOUTRITIS is FDA-approved and 100% organic. It is a safe and effective alternative to common pain relievers and anti-inflammatories such as NSAIDs, colchicine and steroids.

The active ingredient in GOUTRITIS is Tart cherry, which has antioxidants that help reduce inflammation associated with gout. Moreover, tart cherry has properties that may lower uric acid levels to address not just the symptoms but also the root cause of gout. It inhibits the activity of Xanthine oxidase, the enzyme which causes the production of uric acid.

Gout affects mostly men between the ages of 40 and 50. The disease seldom occurs in premenopausal women and children. It is caused by the build-up of high uric acid in the blood. Uric acid comes from the breakdown of substances called Purines. Purines are found in all of the body’s tissues and in foods like liver, dried beans and peas, asparagus, meat gravies and broths, mussels and sardines and anchovies, among others.

Normally, excess uric acid passes through the kidneys and out of the body in urine. People with gout, however, either overproduce or fail to excrete the substance which then accumulates in their blood. As a result, some of the uric acid gets deposited in joints and sometimes, even in organs like the skin and kidneys.

Gout is characterized by attacks of severe joint pain and swelling that are sometimes accompanied by fever. The most commonly affected joints are those of the foot especially the big toe, the ankle, and the knee, although gout can affect any joint of the body.

If you’ve got gout, take GOUTRITIS to manage your condition the all-natural way. Three capsules of GOUTRITIS, taken daily before breakfast, will help the patient manage his gout.

For additional product information, you may email or visit Like for updates.

You may also call GOUTRITIS consumer hotlines 524-6549, 354-2208 to 09 and 0947-4890262 for inquiries.

Japanese food is known for its healthy, fresh, well portioned and delectable dishes. I recommend Kessaku to those who love Japanese cuisine. Kessaku is definitely more when it comes to Japanese dining experience as it takes great care to offer a contrast of textures and flavors that don’t disappoint.

Salmon Sashimi’s texture is soft and smooth. Sinking my teeth into it releases all that juicy heaven. It somewhat melts in the mouth and makes me want for more.
Complimentary Kani with Japanese Mayo is a delicious pile of sweet crab.  It really perks up the appetite!

Usi Ebi or Sunburst Salad has slices of strawberry, apple, grapes plus mandarin orange topped with Tiger Prawns

Tiger Rolls have shrimp, tuna, cream cheese and avocado in sticky rice.  It is culinary perfection!

California Maki offers the sweetness of Japanese Mayo blended with flying fish roe.  It looks and tastes divine!

Unagi with Foie Gras (P 350) melts in your mouth.  This eel and duck liver in combination with sticky rice really compliments each other.

Spider Rolls is another take on eating crabs minus the fuss.

Chicken Yakitori are savory chicken skewers anyone would like to try

Shishamo or  Salt Water Fish Smelt
This is may first time to bite into Shishamo. I was hesitant to eat an entire fish with its bones and head at first, but the tiny fish eggs that packed this skinny little fish got me hooked! As a child, I have acquired a taste for fish eggs and I like Shishamo. I was surprised to know that the traditional Japanese do enjoy eating this fish variety with the heads and tails on.
Ebi Tempura

Soft Shell Crab Tempura
I became a fan of Japanese restaurants because of Tempura. I love Kessaku’s light, airy batter that is found in its Tiger prawn tempura and its soft shell crab tempura. Both are perfectly done and absolutely awesome, that if I were blindfolded, I wouldn’t be able to distinguish between the two.
Symphony is a Kessaku layered specialty made up of tuna, crabsticks, salmon and fried rice served with a side of showmanship. This very filling dish that offers a pleasant savory experience for those who would want to try out Japanese food. It is a good food that speaks so much of its masterfully blended flavor. I so love the way it is presented.

Angus Prime Chahan is like a supersized Chao Fan to me.  This rice offering has Angue Prime Beef dices and veggie enough to satisfy the hunger of 4 heads.

Kaikage Teppan is Fried Oyster in Batter that  comes with a side dish of fried noodles and mixed vegetables

Mixed Kamameshi is a specialty one-pot rice dish that I find irresistable.  It has shrimp, pork and beef mixed with veggies.

At Kessaku you are assured of freshness plus you get good food variety that speaks creative combinations, beautiful presentation, and consistent quality. Their roll menu is superb!

Thank you  Kessaku Alabang for a wonderful night of Japanese food indulgence.

Back at Just Thai

I have accepted the invitation  to dine in again at Just Thai early this week. I had my degustation experience at  Forbestown, Burgos Circle, BGC this time around.

This BGC branch is a lot bigger than the one in Molito, Alabang (see my previous Just Thai review HERE). Patrons may choose to dine in at the ground or second floor. Or enjoy their food outside al-fresco style

This upscale Thai restaurant has really beautiful Thai decors that adds to its exquisite ambience.
Chicken Pandan (P 290) comes with two choice of dips. I feel that the tamarind sauce goes well better with this Pandan (Screwpine) leaf-wrapped chicken over the sweet and sour sauce. Just Thai makes this Thai dish more pleasing to the palate by using Filipino seasonings. It has matchstick vegetable strips that add a dash of color to the dish.
The Grilled Pork in Tamarind Sauce (P 290) adds an exciting twist to the grilled liempo I love. The seasoned pork slices is matched with a sweet sauce made of tamarind, served on the side with julienned carrots and cabbages. A dash of diced red peppers and spring onions on the meat slices add crunch and bite to this dish. I so love the tamarind sauce!
Squid in Garlic and Pepper  (P 300) is succulent and tender.
Pla Rad Prik (P 395) is big-sized Tilapia butterflied and fried to a delightful crispiness
Bagoong Rice (P 250) has green mango slices, pork bits, anchovies and scrambled egg.  It's a filling dish in itself.
Just Thai's flavors are intense but not overpowering. I'm not really into spicy foods since a mild version is oftentimes enough to sting me.  As such I just enjoy  viands that make you sweat kind of spicy that from time to time. If you have low tolerance like my, you'll be glad to know that customers can have the spice level of their dishes adjusted upon ordering.

Do try out Just Thai courses. You will love its family-style offerings with either hot or sweet and sour sauces. All servings are meant for sharing.
