Skin is the largest organ and it plays an important role in protecting the body. And so taking care of your skin and keeping it as healthy as you can becomes imperative.

Windsor Clarifying Skin Polish (P 3,400)
My partner and I availed the Windsor Clarifying Skin Polish two weeks ago and found that this two-fold service was such a pampering (and beautifying too) treat. The first part is referred to as Skin Philosophie Signature Facial. This multi-step procedure starts with cleansing. A hypoallergenic cleanser or a degreasing wash is used depending on your skin type. I had the hypoallergenic one for my sensitive, combination skin.
Lymphatic massage is administered once the face is clean. This is highly relaxing that I almost fell asleep as the therapist massages my facial nodes in circular motion. Application of lymphatic massage accelerates lymph drainage through lymphatic nodes and is considered beneficial as it aids the lymphatic system in the detoxification and disposal of metabolic waste.
Next follows the use of the Galvanic device to tone my facial muscles using direct current stimulation. Scrubbing is then shortly administered to remove black and whiteheads.
I found this step just a little painful especially when being done on the sides on my nose.
After scrubbing, a High Frequency device is then used to close the skin pores. Toner is then applied to restore my natural skin's pH.
Second part is the Windsor Clarifying Polish (or diamond microdermabrasion) takes care of the deadskin cell build-up on the Face, Neck and Chest. This high-powered exfoliator sucks out the remaining superficial blackheads and whiteheads.
After undergoing all these step-by-step procedures, it is worth noting that my skin felt a lot smoother to touch and came out a bit reddish. Leo's usual dark skin appeared whitish, remarkably fairer one (he has oily skin).
The microderm treatment is used to soften fine lines and wrinkles, decrease the appearance of scarring/coarse textures, decrease pore size, and reduces superficial hyper-pigmentation or age spots. The procedure has to be done every month for best results, I was told.
You'll be happy to know that Skin Philosophie is extending a free consultation/assessment (excluding pathological cases) to my loyal blog readers.
