Acer has always been at the forefront of innovation free music, fun, and collaboration. And the 2024 edition, themed “AI’m Limitless,” at SM Mall of Asia Arena last August 4, 2024 was hands down, amazing experience of visual and audial extremes from start to finish!
"AI'm Limitless" aims to inspire people to push beyond their limits and explore new user experiences with Acer's vast range of PCs and lifestyle products.
The #AcerDay2024 celebration featured a lineup of powerhouse performers, including performances by Acer ambassadors SB19, Sandara Park, and G22. Hosted by Luis Manzano, the concert had an audience of over 20,000 people, both on-ground and online via a Facebook livestream.
"Acer Day helps connect us with our customers through music and different activities that allow them to try the products which provide tools that enable individuals to explore limitless possibilities and bring their ideas to life," said Sue Ong Lim, Managing Director at Acer Philippines.
Alternative band, Cup of Joe, opened the show with "Wag na Lang," "Tingin," and "Estranghero," followed by crooner-songwriter TJ Monterde who sang "Mahika," "Tulad Mo," and "Palagi."
Moving on to OPM icon Ebe Dancel with nostalgic songs- "Makita Kang Muli," "Wag Kang Umiyak," "Bawat Daan," and crowd hit "Hari ng Sablay." Ebe was a great performer who knows how to capture the crowd.
He thanked Acer for reaching out to him and other struggling musicians during the pandemic. Professional musicians immensely struggled financially, losing their main source of income as live events were cancelled when the world went into lockdown.
He appreciates Acer for giving him an opportunity to sing for company executives and employees online.
Next, Rico Blanco gave the crowd more energy by performing, "Antukin," "Umaaraw Umuulan," "Your Universe," "Kisapmata," and "You'll Be Safe Here."
Then it's the Acer ambassadors' turn to perform: SB19, Sandara Park, and G22, the Female Alphas of P-pop!
It was fun to see Sandara Park and G22 perform "In or Out." Then it was Dara and SB19 with "Reset," a song they collaborated for Acer in 2023.
G22 performed "Boomerang," "Bang," "One Sided Love," and "Loka." Dara kept the party vibe with "Dara Dara," "I Don't Care," and "I'm The Best+Can't Nobody."
And then SB19 brought the house down with songs- "Gento," "Hanggang sa Huli," and "Crimzone."
There was even a surprise performance with rapper Gloc9 for their unreleased song titled "Kalakal".
A highlight of the event was the performance of “Limitless,” the theme song for Acer Day 2024, composed by SB19’s leader Pablo and performed by SB19 and G22. This musical collaboration symbolized the event’s theme of pushing beyond limits and exploring new possibilities.
Acer Day 2024 also served as a strategic platform for Acer to reinforce its brand values and demonstrate its commitment to innovation. By integrating technology showcases with musical performances, the brand was able to effectively engage with its audience while highlighting its product capabilities.
