Fired up at Scout's Honor

From its humble beginning as a cookie stall in Century City Mall, Scout's Honor has transformed itself into a restaurant.

Camping tools, wooden furnitures, and signposts is Scout's Honor's fun way of adding authenticity to its campsite theme. Other camping elements plus accent pieces completely bring the place to life!

The place is tailor-fitted for kids and barkadas. A number of boardgames are available for you and your friends to play while waiting for your food.

Scout's Honor recognizes that chow time is one of the great things about camping and so they offer good food to keep you comfortable and warm.

They brought in a cupfull of complimentary chips onto the table the moment we sat down.

We had Crispy Calamari and Chips (P 165) plus Handcut French Fries (P 65) for starters. The crispy battered squid rings with freshly crisped potato chips were served in an iron skillet. It was bursting with flavor. The well-seasoned pieces were coated with light batter to make the tastiest fried squid rings. They also serve their rice meals in iron skillets. The Scout's Buttermilk Fried Chicken (P 245) were two pieces of crunchy chicken over a hefty rice serving! Food somehow taste extra hearty when cooked in cast-iron skillets!

Pasta dishes came in next. Chili Garlic Seafood Linguine (P 315) is a spicy, oil-based pasta had prawns, squid bits, and mussels.

Carbonara pasta was delicious! It was loaded with crunchy bacon bits, which further gave the dish a savoury aroma.

We were craving for something sweet so we had cookies. There is a cookie bar offering freshly baked cookies. We love biting into their chewy bisquits----the Ultimate Chocolate Chip, and  Deep Dark Secret were dense and easy to eat.

You may also opt for Craft-Your-Own-Cookie flavor and have it specially baked just for you. This allows you to choose from a range of doughs (basic chewy dough, the crowd-pleasing chewy, chocolate chip, chocolate fudge, red velvet dough and the double). Afterwards, you get to pick your own cookie toppings from chocolate chips, marshmallows, cream cheese, nuts, salted pretzels and dried fruits. You decide then if you want it chewy or crispy-done.

When you are there, get it with a ice-cold bottle of Milk (P95), and pretend you’re a boy scout at a campsite.

Whether it’s a steamy pot of pasta or warm, freshly-baked biscuits, Scout Honor boasts of good food that satisfies.
