Bakasyunan Resort in Tanay, Rizal gives a quiet breather from the metro hustle and bustle.
The 15-hectare hideaway provides a spectacular view of the Sierra Madre mountain range, Wind Mills in Pililla Rizal and picturesque Laguna De Bay atop mountain ridges.
The entrance gate is a long walk from its wide parking area. From the gate, the walkway to the left leads to the 2-storey main building welcoming every visitor. The same houses the front desk, bar / lounge and the restaurant. The viewing deck, dormitory and a few function rooms are on the second level.
To its right, is the Conference Building, the mini golf nook, lawn leading up to the uphill infinity pool, which gives
a panoramic view of Laguna De Bay. Their infinity pool has the best scenic view of the windmills from the nearby town as well.
A stay at Bakasyunan Resort can be as busy or as relaxing as you want. The place is huge and has plenty of amenities to keep people entertained. There are functional halls, hotel rooms and dormitories around the property. They even have obstacle courses for team building activities.
Aside from the human-sized chess game, maze, zipline, table tennis,giant swing, mud slide, videoke room, horseback riding, billiards, videoke, wall climbing, frisbee, there are lots of IG-worthy spots to capture memorable time spent together with love ones. The big bird's nest and birds wing is perfect for pictorial sessions.
Although some of the facilities were a little dated, our hotel room was clean and spacious. It covers all basics. This is definitely a family holiday destination!
