Lee Kum Kee holds its first-ever International Young Chef Chinese Culinary Challenge


Aspiring young chefs take on the first-ever Lee Kum Kee International Young Chef Chinese Culinary Challenge - Philippines Qualifiers 2019.
 
Lee Kum Kee has invited local budding chefs to compete at the first-ever Lee Kum Kee International Young Chef Chinese Culinary Challenge at Magsaysay Center for Hospitality and Culinary Arts in Manila today. The young culinarians put their skills to the test as they battle it out to earn the privilege of representing the Philippines in Hong Kong come 2020.





Prizes at stake are:

Gold Award (1 winner): 25K cash prize + Lee Kum Kee products worth PHP 10,000

Silver Award (1 winner): 15K cash prize + Lee Kum Kee products worth PHP 5,000

Bronze Award (3 winners): 8K cash prize + Lee Kum Kee products worth PHP 3,000

Most Creative Award (1 winner): 10K cash prize + Lee Kum Kee products worth PHP 3,000 & 1 knife set sponsor by World Class Concept

Best Presentation Award (1 winner): 10K cash prize + Lee Kum Kee products worth PHP 3,000 & 1 set of dinner plates (6 pcs) & cutlery sponsored by World Class Concept

Two winners from the Philippines Qualifiers will move on to the next level in the 4th IYCCCC - Hong Kong next year. They will compete with 50 other young chefs coming from over 29 countries for the international championship.

IYCCCC is an optimal culinary exchange platform for young Chinese chefs. Three first-time Filipino representatives won bronze awards in the 3rd IYCCCC.
