Indeed, Malling is definitely More Fun In the Philippines! I had a fun-filled day at launch of SM City Manila's Filipino Food Festival last May 26, 2019.
Food plays an important part in how we celebrate. Food and celebrations go hand-in-hand in festivities. The ongoing Filipino Food Festival gives us the opportunity to try out new, fresh flavors across regions. It also provides opportunity to upcoming and promising food concepts to make it to mainstream along with the refuted ones.
Shoppers got to fill their happy tummies with savory dishes by celebrity Chefmom Rosebud Benitez and Chef Reggie of Mangan and Cabalen. Chef Rosebud did some twists on homegrown dishes like the Seafood Kare-Kare, Pork Binagoongan and Chicken Adobo to highlight Filipino cuisine. On the other hand, Chef Reggie's Sinigang was phenomenal.
Sindaw Philippines made the celebration even memorable with its folk dance numbers that entertained the audience.
