Following its overwhelming success in the last four years, Jolly University again gathered students from all over Metro Manila and Luzon in one roof for the ultimate culinary competition with the theme 'Innovate. Create. Share.'
Jolly University tested the kitchen skills and creativity of challengers in the country’s much-anticipated and long-running competition for young talented cooks and future food entrepreneurs.
Following its overwhelming success in the last two years, Jolly University is highly regarded as one of the most prestigious culinary competitions and learning platforms. It offers support, mentorship and training opportunities for novice chefs with workshops on competitive techniques and skill demonstrations.
This year's competition had proven to be difficult. From the Top 20 finalists, 10 moved on to compete for the final round!
"It is great to see a new.batch of talented and very promising campus culinary students going all out as they presented to us innovative modern renditions of Filipino clasics and fusion recipes," said Abigail Ng-Reyes, Fly Ace AVP for Marketing.
This year’s sole Jolly University champion, Tyrone Lemuel Ty, bbought home fifty thousand pesos worth of cash and prizes.
