In this season of giving, reunions and sharing, the Filipino tradition of bonding over good, homegrown food sets the pace.
At Bistro Charlemagne: A Concept by Little Asia, they offer delectable Filipino food fused with Asian flavors. After the success of its pilot store at Solenad, it open its second branch at Ayala Malls Feliz just in time for the holiday season.
The crunchy Vegetable Lumpia is a must try!
Little Asia's Crispy Chicken is Bistro Charlemagne's heirloom recipe that has been passed down in three generations. I love the tender and.juicy meat under its crunchy skin.
This house crispy chicken specialty is akin to a savory, spring chicken even without gravy.
Beef Tenderloin Rolls with Cheese is definitely one good starter. It is a crowd favorite!
These finely rolled strips of beef tenderloin with cheese sauteed in authentic teriyaki sauce has everything worked so well!
While I am partial to pork sisig, I love how Bistro Charlemagne reinvented sisig. Their Ox Sisig has bits of crunchy chicharon on top of that mushy, flavorful ox tongue/tripe bits thay perks up the flavor.
The slow-cooked meat was very tender. The crispy chicharon bulaklak toppings went well with the liver, kalamansi and mayonnaise, blending it to perfection.
One serving is good enough for 2-3 people.
My family and I enjoyed their take on Filipino food. Go visit them soon for a memorable gustatory feast.
