Joey Bana's Cafe of Saints

If you are a fan of themed  cafés, then Joey Bana's Cafe of Saints  will surely make you swoon. The cafe walls are adorned with a beautiful array of timeless Madonna images to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The owner used to be a radio DJ known as Joey Bana in his youth. Jun Alcantara shared that he started his journey of faith with a devotion to the Madonna because of his ailing mother.  He went on collecting images of the Madonna a few years back and had commissioned his friend, Fernando Veroy Ballesteros, to do art renditions of famous representations of Mary, either alone or with her child Jesus Christ.

Some of Jun's Marian paintings are displayed in his cafe, giving the place a gallery look and feel. In his leap of faith, Jun decided to put uo his "Cafe of Saints" near San Pedro College of Business Administrations (SPCBA) to inspire others who share the same devotion and to provide an oasis those looking for quiet contemplation and good food.

The flagship store  was officially launched on December 8, 2017.  His friend of almost four decades, Joel Cruz, was there as his special guest.

A blessing of the whole property was held to kick off the occassion. The ribbon cutting ceremony came in next.

Guests were then invited to partake in a medium buffet spread they have prepared for the said occassion.

They have Japanese, Italian and Filipino food on the menu. And we got to try out some of their best sellers.

And when you are there, pair your food with a cold drink! They have fruity smoothies, iced blended drinks plus hot coffee espresso, machiatto, affogato, chocolate and more.
