Earlier today, Mega Global Corporation, makers of Mega Prime Quality canned vegetables introduced its new set of easy-to-cook Rainy Day SOUPrise recipes at the Enderun McKinley Hill in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.
The Rainy Day SOUPrise event featured new soup recipes, made with Mega Prime Mushrooms, through a cooking demonstration by Chef Nino Logarta and Prime Mom Marian Rivera. They presented a soup dish using Mega Prime Mushrooms.
Prior to the event, an online contest was also held for moms to post their original mushroom soup recipes on their Facebook accounts. The four finalists were invited to demonstrate their culinary talents in a cook-off, wherein Marvin Tiu Lim, Vice President for Sales and Marketing of Mega Global Corporation, Chef Nino, and Marian Rivera made up the judges panel. Winners received cash prizes and gift items from Mega Prime.
Alongside the cooking demo, the event will also feature original mushroom recipes of the finalists of the Mega Prime Rainy Day SOUPrise Cook-off Challenge. Prior to the said cook-off, Mega Prime held an online contest, inviting moms to show and post their original mushroom soup recipes on their Facebook accounts.
The attendees also got a chance to participate in experiential cooking and tasting activities using Mega Prime products for the new soup dishes.
