Make brushing more fun with Minions!

When I was young, my parents taught me the importance of taking care of my teeth and gums. I don’t see the point to brushing my teeth after meals as a child but I conceeded for fear of suffering from toothaches and gum diseases.

At midlife,  I am still able to keep my permanent teeth healthy thanks to proper dental hygiene.

Now with my own kid, I deem it important to  develop healthy teeth habits in her  while she is young.   And the easiest way to do this is to make teeth brushing activity a fun time for my child through play.

I give her fun character brushes to start our brushing teeth games. I let her have some of the control over the task by choosing a toothbrush to play with each time.

The cool toothbrushes make morning and bedtime routine time something to look forward to. We brush our teeth together and I use exaggerated gestures to show her each critical step in the brushing process. I urge her to reach the furthest back teeth.  She mimics my gestures until she finishes the whole process of cleaning her teeth. Brushing teeth games like these help make dental hygiene easier and more fun for my family.

Regular brushing of the teeth and dental check-up help them remain cavity-free.
