Asian Hospital and Medical Center holds lecture on Immuno-thoracic Oncology

Lung cancer is the second most common cancer and the leading cause of cancer death anywhere in the world. In observance of the Lung Cancer Awareness Month, the Asian Hospital and Medical Center Asian Cancer Institute presented a lecture on Immuno-thoracic Oncology last November 10, 2015 in collaboration with Stephen Solarz International Fellowship Program.

Dr. David S. Schrump shared the latest developments in the field of thoracic oncology. Treatment appears to be more successful by employing latest guidelines designed to catch lung cancer early.

Lung resection can provide cure in some cancer cases that had been discovered early. the surgeical removal of a part of the lung may depend on the patient's diagnosis.
