Uke Box Caffé

Are you looking for a a new chill place, for a night of great music over good food and drinks? Well, Uke Box Caffé has it all covered!

Uke Box Caffé is the only ukulele-themed cafe in Metro Manila that offers free workshops. Even without prior musical knowledge, you can get on the groove playing lots of tunes, and it won't be a struggle. You get started by simply signing up for their Sunday workshop, where they teach you to strum, tune, and shape basic chords.

Ukulele is an easy instrument to learn. You can rent one, buy one in-store or bring your own and jam along with your friends. You'll be playing a song in no time! You'll have fun just by learning the basics.

Uke Box Caffé also houses wooden decks filled with soft cushions for a homey, private dining experience. It's like your perfect spot when you just want to unwind, go on a private chat while having a cup of your favorite coffee. It is interesting how they managed to put up those bunk beds given the limited space they had.

Their selfie coffee experience is something you should try out! Select your type of drink and then Uke Box Caffé will serve it with your face printed on your coffee foam!

Non-coffee drinkers may opt for Strawberry Iced Tea, Matcha Green Tea, Strawberry Banana, and Dark Chocolate.

Other than the hot and cold coffee blends, I find that they are particularly strong on sandwiches. My top picks were: Chicken Pocket (P 180), Hawaiian Spam plus the Monte Cristo Sandwich (P 250).

While a bit pricey, everyone loves the Monte Cristo Sandwich. This French Toast is something Uke Box Caffé does really well. I had seconds of this sandwich. I love how its crunchy exterior mixes well with a rich, creamy and custardy interior! Slices of cheese and ham gives the right balance of sweetness in every bite.

For pasta, I recommend the Carbonara. Though the serving size is a bit smaller, it tasted perfect. They know how to do it really well.

Uke Box Caffé's unique setting and food options make it a great place to head out to. I will definitely  bring in my family for the experience. Check it out soon!
