British technology company behind the Dyson Airblade™ hand dryer and the Dyson Air Multiplier™ is back with another pipeline technology. After the bladeless fan and bagless vacuum cleaner, Dyson launches its quietest Ball™ vacuum cleaner DC48. Priced at 45,000 pesos, DC48 is also Dyson’s smallest vacuum cleaner as it fits on an A4-size paper. Its ultra lightweight–weighing body is 2.7kg with the turbine head, 2.8kg with the motorised floor tool.
Ball™ technology
The machine is light to pull, can pivot on the spot, and follows obediently without snagging on corners. It has a low center of gravity for negotiating tight turns and getting around furniture. There are over 100 components arranged in the ball including the motor, ducting and 5 metres of cable.
Improved floor tools
Tools have been re-engineered to improve pick-up and sound quality, and reduce weight. Simplified airways decrease noise levels and a self-tightening mechanism keeps the brush bar stable. A dust capture channel prevents dirt from escaping back to the floor, increasing pick-up. The new configuration of carbon fiber filaments and nylon brushes removes fine dust from hard floors and ground-in dirt from carpets.
On the other hand, Dyson Digital Slim™DC62 vacuum is lightweight, cordless, and packs the same power as a mains vacuum cleaner thanks to its V6 Dyson digital motor. Dyson’s DC62 cordless vacuum packs the same punch as a full size vacuum. It uses the bagless vacuum technology, another first in innovation.
