Our hungry brood were craving for some Chinese food and so we decided to dine in at Super Bowl. The Super Bowl branch in Festival Mall is spacious to accommodate a number of big family diners.
We were immediately seated and they handed us the menu cards next. The server brought in free fresh prawn cracker plates while we browse over the menu. She also served free jasmine tea when my mom asked for it. I love Super Bowl's extra services aimed at making our meals enjoyable.
There were many traditional Chinese and Filipino favorites in the menu such as Asado, Stir-Fried Baguio Beans with Minced Pork, Baguio Beans mixed with lean ground pork meat, Egplant with hot and spicy Minced Pork plus a lot more! Their list of desserts include Crunchy Banana Balls, Banana Split, Taho, Strawberry Sundae and Halo-Halo.

A simple, but very impressive and tasty Crispy Lemon Chicken meal that is impressively yummy! |
The Chinese Jellyfish dish is really very tasty and refreshing to the palate. I was surprised that it is not salty as I expected. It tasted like a cold, refreshing pickled dish with shredded jellyfish mixed with a savoury dressing, made from combination of soy sauce, vinegar, and spices. The century egg wedges goes well with it.
I'm not a fan of Crispy Lemon Chicken, but the way it was put together made the dish another favorite of mine. The sauce tasted heavenly as to complement the breaded chicken slices. The Sweet and Sour pork's tangy sauce tasted perfect as well. The crisp onions, green and red bell peppers added more crunch to its pineapple-sweetened sauce. Two great viands to go with the yang chow fried rice we so love!
