KUMON Press Launch

Kumon Press Launch was held at Chateau 1771, Greenbelt 5 last Saturday. Ms. Jasmine Mendiola  hosted the event. We were introduced to the leaders behind the said organization-- Ms. Inna Duller - Public Relations Division Leader, Mr. Henry Tenedero - Education Reform Advocate, Mr. Tadashi Nakatsuka - President of Kumon Philippines, Inc., Ms. Susie Tsoi - Kumon Instructor and Mr. Allan Aguirre - Communication and Human Capital Group Leader. I have always wanted to know more about the Kumon discipline I've been hearing from the other mommy bloggers. I work hard to be able to send my daughter to a good school and would love to help her discover her talents and inclinations. Like all parents, I want to equip her with everything possible to secure a promising future for her. And education is the best means to do it.

Have you ever wondered why the Kumon Logo has that thinking face inside? It connotes the many faces of children who learn, think and grow within KUMON Centers.

The Kumon Blue color on the other hand, represents intelligence, honesty and the sky that far stretches around the world. Moreover, the word is also an acronym--
K - indness movement
U - nderstanding the child
M - astery of the basic skills
O - n their own
N - o two children are alike
